Guerrilla Tours is a company based in New York City that specializes in unique walking tour experiences given by trained actors.  All of our guides are licensed by the city of New York.  We present the exciting history of the locations visited using elements of scene work, characterization, sketch comedy, and just plain old good story-telling!  Our tours succeed at being both entertaining and educational. 

The idea for the name Guerrilla Tours came from the fact that we, as tour guides, would be leading a small group of people, on foot, around one of the largest and busiest cities in the world.  Our small army taking on the Big Bad Apple in hand-to-hand combat - guerrilla warfare style.  New York is truly the most exciting and energetic city in the world and provides the perfect setting for a unique experience like Guerrilla Tours!

We offer traditional walking tours that provide all the history you can stand but are presented in our own special way - with an emphasis on ENTERTAINMENT!  We also offer a special experience that we call a "TOUR + SHOW EXPERIENCE".  This truly one-of-a-kind experience combines elements of traditional walking tours with a scripted show.  The "show" takes place right on the street, in front of you, and involves at least two performers/tour guides.  We are very proud to offer these unique alternatives to traditional walking tours.  These special experiences are the perfect way to keep younger audiences attentive or for the average family on vacation who are looking, above all else, to have a lot of fun!  It was a natural addition to our tour roster given the fact that our company is made up of some of the most talented performers in NYC.

Currently, all of our experiences happen right in the heart of Times Square and the common theme is one that is near and dear to our hearts - Broadway.  But stay tuned.  We have some pretty nifty ideas up our sleeves that will allow us to take our unique brand of walking tours all over the city!
